FOOD : OOMA Sushi Bar

Finally, an Ooma near the office!

Even if I just had a sushi dinner a couple of days ago, nothing will stop me from trying the newest franchise of this famous restaurant! Also, I haven’t even tried any of the other branches of Ooma probably because I always felt intimidated with these restaurants. I was afraid that I would be forced to use chopsticks because as you know, it’s something that I have never really learned how to do.

Anyhow, Divine invited me to try it last night and I immediately said Yes! Prior to going to the Ooma, we agreed that we only need to spend a maximum of P500 each. Did we meet our budget? Yes. Although I exceeded by 75 pesos because I added a miso soup. Was it worth it? Definitely. I will come back and try everything in their menu. Hah. Probably even the oysters and crabs.

What did we eat? Here, have a look:

Salmon Skin Aburi Maki – Torched Salmon + Crispy Salmon Skin +Asparagus + Cream Cheese + Wasabi Aioli +Teriyaki Sauce

it was soooo good!!! i love how the cream cheese explodes inside your mouth while it mixes with the taste of the Salmon and the Samon Skin! A must try!

Cold Sesame and Duck Ramen Salad- House Noodles + Duck Confit + Red and Green Cabbage + Fried Eggplant + Ponzu Sauce

To my surprise, this salad had Eggplants and I never realised that until now! It was also good, especially the Sauce! We just saw this from a friend’s Instagram stories and thought we can divide the salad into two so we can both try. Everything we ordered (except for the miso soup) was divided in half. Haha.

we also agreed to order something that we’re familiar with, so we had the Spicy Tuna Maki – Fresh Cut Tuna + Ebiko + tempura crumbs + Gochujang aioli and wit did not disappoint as well.

Here’s Divine enjoying our feast!

It’s definitely a 5/5 for me! The staff was friendly as well, which is a plus!!!
