It’s such a slow Friday the 13th. I’m sitting in front of my office pc for what feels like forever.
And so after our relaxing afternoon, work came at around 5pm. This is a bummer because all of the other teams are already finishing theirs, and by 6pm everybody’s talking and having so much fun and being insensitive to those who are already busy working.
@supermavic might have seen my angry face so she sent me this:
Haha!! And yeah, I guess that’s how I looked like earlier.
So to appease my already stressed self, I went to dinner with my friends in a familiar place (where I ate a delicious beef salpicao).
BONUS: They’re playing #MariahCarey ‘s #Christmas album haha!
The Happy Hungry me + Rea
Beef Salpicao (P220) – this is actually really good. I mentioned this in a previous post, how I’m not a beef fan but this one is the exception.
Grilled Cajun Chicken (P180) – The thing with chicken is that it’s so hard to eat without using your hands. Plus, it’s not really well done 😭
T-Bone Steak (P190) – this is perhaps the cheapest (decent) T-Bone steak in Makati! It’s also a must try if you’re dining here. 👍🏼
I forced my friends to grab some drinks at CBTL because
👍🏼 points for my Swirl card
👍🏼 stamps for the Giving Journal (CBTL’s planner
It turned out to be a bad idea because
👎🏼 a lot of people are collecting stamps
👎🏼 a lot of people are here today
👎🏼 coffee shops used to be chill, but this one’s really (extremely) busy and noisy
And the worst and probably the most baffling of all – they do not have vanilla. So all drinks with vanilla are not available, that meant no frappe, no lattes, nothing interesting.
The thing is, it’s a freaking coffee shop and I’m guessing it’s payday Friday. They should’ve prepared for it. So, we stormed out of that coffee shop extremely disappointed. Worst CBTL experience, by far.
